At Ardo, we’re proud to support Black Breastfeeding Week 2025 (25–31 August). Now in its 14th year, the week was co-founded by Kimberly Seals Allers, Kiddada Greenand Anayah Sangodele-Ayoka to highlight the unique barriers Black families face when it comes to breastfeeding, and to celebrate the resilience and success stories that too often go untold.
This year’s theme, “Boots on the Ground: Rooted in Breastfeeding Success, Grounded in Community Support,” calls us to focus on real-world change – from representation and education to peer support and advocacy.
That’s why we’re collaborating with Boobingit on a series of Instagram Live events designed to inform, inspire, and empower.

How to Take Part
Follow @boobingit and @ardomums_uk on Instagram and join the conversations live across the week.
Alongside these events, we’ll also be sharing incredible breastfeeding stories from Black parents on the Ardo Parent Hub. These stories highlight the unique challenges, triumphs, and experiences of families in our community, and show the power of support and persistence.
By shining a light on these powerful voices, we hope to inspire and support more families in their breastfeeding journeys. Because when parents feel seen, supported, and celebrated, we all move closer to a future where breastfeeding success is possible for everyone.
