Wearable

The hands-free pumps sit inside your bra, meaning you can perform breast massage or manual stimulation during expressing which can increase milk production. With the collection cups concealed, you won’t be tempted to check or monitor the volume of expressed milk constantly; for many women, this takes a lot of stress out of the process, allowing you to relax and therefore increase milk volume. 

The Melia wearable breast pump enables you to hold your baby, interact with them or feed them while expressing. This can increase your oxytocin level and thus strengthen your bond and relationship with your baby.

Compact, light, and easy to use

The Melia’s compact size and USB rechargeable integrated battery allow for maximum mobility, meaning the breast pumps can be used anywhere, anytime; at home, at work, and in any place independently without the need for electricity. A fully charged battery allows between 100 – 135 minutes of pumping depending on the mode and settings.

4 different modes for maximum comfort

To ensure ultimate comfort and optimal milk flow, the Ardo Melia has been thoughtfully designed to include 4 different modes for expression: Massage mode, stimulation mode, expression mode and automatic mode.

Achieving let-down with the Melia

You can use either the Massage or Stimulation mode to get the milk flowing – whichever suits you best. The massage mode uses a fast cycle with a deep vacuum to stimulate milk flow, whilst the stimulation mode features a fast cycle with a vacuum peak every tenth time. The vacuum levels are individually adjustable in both modes, so you can find what’s most comfortable for you.

Expressing with the Melia

Once your milk starts flowing, switch to expression mode which uses a slow cycle with a high vacuum. Again, the vacuum levels are individually adjustable for you to find those most comfortable for you.

Automatic mode

Alternatively, use the automatic mode from the start of your pumping session. This mode gradually increases the vacuum level every 15 seconds, starting at the lowest level, until it reaches level 12 out of 15.

Intelligent LED display

The intelligent LED display offers clear information on the selected mode and vacuum strength, making it easy to adjust and monitor during use, even in the dark. It features a convenient pause button for short interruptions. If paused for longer than 5 minutes the pump with automatically switch off to preserve the battery and includes automatic switch-off after 20 minutes for added safety.

Rechargeable

The battery level is also displayed on the LED display, so you can easily monitor when the pump needs recharging. To fully charge in 2 hours, use a plug (or two plugs) with a minimum output of 5V, 2A (2000mA). Please note: a plug is not included.
